I’m OneJustChris

Hi, I’m Just Chris aka just “One” chris. I am trying to please God. Every thing I have is from Him!!! I AM NOT WHO I WAS!!!

My journey began in 1984 when I was born to two teenage parents, who remained estranged from me for most of my life. Having found faith early on, but not truly knowing who I am, my path was filled with heartbreak, disappointment, drugs, alcohol, prison, dereliction, and redemption. I’m grateful to be in the redemption phase now. Lol.

My biggest musical influences as a kid were Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and West Coast hip-hop. Sprinkle in a little Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and top it off with some Eminem and there you have it!!! Hahaha!

Music is a spiritual thing. I’ve had some of the most profound, spiritual experiences either writing, recording, or simply listening to music.
